Boom Radio is a proud UK radio station!

We are licensed by the regulator and music copyright holders just for the UK and Channel Islands. Whilst our signal may leak out elsewhere on some devices, that is not the intention and reception cannot be guaranteed.

The interest is flattering, but any listening is not measured in audience figures and nor do we earn any revenue from it as our advertisers focus on UK ears.

You may be aware that similar restrictions apply to many other UK radio stations, depending on their licensing arrangements. Similarly for example, it is challenging to hear American radio stations here - and you'll know the restrictions of watching UK TV channels  when abroad!

We'd love to help - but it would be very expensive and complex for us to serve other countries, and the likelihood of attracting a large enough audience to cover those costs is, sadly, very low.

This is also why our contest entrants are also limited to the UK.
