Having been selected from hundreds of entrants, The Monarchs Blues Band were victorious. Ahead of their recording session, they rehearsed - with the legendary Mike Batt on hand plus the great Chris Spedding.

Then the big recording day came - and the band arrived at the legendary Air studios, founded by Sir George Martin. Mike Batt was poised to produce, with a surprise appearance by Mike D'Abo from Manfred Mann to offer a few wise words to our winners.

The tracks are now being mixed and you'll have a chance to hear them soon.
